About Dr. Meagan Medley
Dr. Meagan Medley grew up in the suburbs of Memphis before completing her education at Mississippi State. As a Bulldog, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Special Education (2005), Master’s of Science in Psychometry (2007), and Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Psychology with a Concentration in School Psychology (2014).
She completed her pre-doctoral APA Accredited internship in New Orleans, through LSU Health Science Center’s Louisiana School Psychology Internship Consortium. Then she practiced as a school psychologist and taught in college/university settings.
Upon receiving her doctorate, she began full-time teaching at Nicholls State University and then Arkansas State University in their NASP approved/accredited school psychology programs. During this 10-year period, she taught many courses, including those in testing, assessment, crisis, and practicums in local schools.
She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and working with a youth mission organization which she has worked with since 2005 (World Changers). When she’s not enjoying time with her family, she’s probably cleaning up after her mini-golden doodle, Beignet.
